The Mersey Rivers Basin Trust has been working to raise awareness about water quality / habitat / ecology issues around the rivers and lakes of our region.

The Trust is holding it’s first “official” event this coming Sunday on the River Irwell at Dumers Lane in Radcliffe, everyone is welcome to join in and help keep our rivers clean.

Start and finish times are 10.30am until 2pm. (please bring strong shoes, and wear old clothes!!)
