Residents in a part of Holyrood Ward (see map below) are going to be part of a ‘personal travel planning’ initiative being undertaken by Transport for Greater Manchester.
This is a third phase of personalised travel planning to take place in Bury. About 3000 households in total (across Prestwich, Whitefield and Radcliffe) will be approached and travel options for their typical journeys explored with them.
The idea is to encourage people to consider means of travel other than the car, for health and environmental reasons.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch if this raises any issues. The areas covered appear to be Guest, Poppythorn, Newlands, Glebelands, Langley Road and Orford, part of Heys Road, part of Heywood Road, St Austells, Noreen, Knights Close, and parts of the Chatsworth Road estate.
