A few weeks ago I reported on a campaign to get more access to publicly accessible defribulators in the local area (see this story).

Since then I’ve received the very welcome news that the team at Brookvale in Simister have a total of five Defibulators on site, together with trained staff. Brockville have offered the use of a machine to Simister Village residents which is situated in an easily accessible area. Trained staff from Brookvale recently gave a take and demonstration at a recent meeting in the Lady Wilton Hall.
