Two further bins updates:

(a) Simister

A number of residents have been in touch because their bins (of various colours) are not being emptied on the (new) collection day (Thursday), and are instead being collected on Friday.

I have been in touch with the Waste Management Team, Simister is at the end of a larger ’round’ for the lorries which is a new to the teams since the recent bin changes. If they are unable to finish the round during the day then they need to come back the following day to collect.

Waste Management are hoping that this is only a temporary issue, as the teams get familiar with their new rounds, and have asked me to pass on their apologies to the Simister residents who have been affected and to thank you for your patience!

(b) Baguley Crescent

An issue of confusion for two properties on Baguley Crescent which are ‘houses’ not flats (the ones nearest Heywood Old Road) as to whether they are on two or three weekly schedule.

The issue has hopefully now been resolved and residents informed.
