Please note that the Parklife organisers will NOT be attending the next meeting of the Prestwich Township Forum (23 July 2014, 6.30pm, Longfield).
There is (we understand) a long de-brief process from the event and it is not yet certain which meeting of the Township Forum they will be able to attend. More information when we know.
At the Township Forum a number of ‘round table’ discussions will be held on a wide range of subjects in the Local Plan, from health and wellbeing to education and learning, community pride and safety, and town centre regeneration. The meeting includes the usual open forum in which to raise any local concerns.
Prestwich Township Forum is looking for a representative from local business to sit on its advisory board. There is an online applicaiton form at www.bury.gov.uk/townshipforums.

I’m not surprised they will not commit to a date, they’ve all got blood on their hands following the bad management of this year’s event and only interested in the money they have made. I haven’t received any leaflets to my property asking for feedback but before the concert I had a few letters telling me how well it was going to be managed. They really need to come to the area when it’s on and see how miserable it is for residents. I do hope they are having sleepless nights like a lot of people had during their extremely poorly managed event.
