Bury’s fostering team is working hard to increase the number of fostering households across the borough. Bury children are often having to be placed, either separately from their siblings, or outside of the area due to the current shortage of foster carers. They are working hard to prevent this, and their efforts are paying off. We have seen a significant rise in the number of people becoming foster carers in the last 6 months, and we are continuing our efforts to ensure that Bury children have a Bury home.

As councillors we have been asked to support this initiative and let as many local residents know as possible.
