Bury Light Night 11 October 2013

Information from Bury Council:

Bury is set to buzz with light and action as the third annual Bury Light Night comes to town on Friday 11 October.Thousands of people are expected to visit once more and see the town centre in a whole new light, with a huge and eclectic mix of arts, music, performance and visual treats lined up.

Unusual and special events for all the family will take place against a backdrop of lit-up buildings and animated public spaces, mostly free, between 6pm and 9pm.

There will also be a tasty array of bustling markets and food and drink on offer, plus late shopping opportunities.

The action will take place across the town centre at the following venues:
* Bury Art Museum
* The Fusilier Museum and Tourist Information Centre
* The Met
* Castle Armoury
* Bury Transport Museum
* The Mill Gate Shopping Centre
* The Rock Shopping Centre

Weird and wonderful happenings can also be expected in the town’s public spaces, such as:
* Kay Gardens (outside the Bus and Rail Interchange)
* Library Gardens (Silver Street)
* Gallipoli Garden (Silver Street)
* Parish Church Gardens
* Lions Gardens (Crompton Street).
