Bury Council have issued the following statement to residents worried about wasps nests:
Now is the time that queen wasps start searching for sheltered spots to build a nest. They like places with easy access to the outdoors and often use attics, roof spaces, wall cavities, garden sheds, bird boxes, garages and under the eaves of buildings.
If you live in the Borough of Bury and you are experiencing a problem with a wasps nest, Bury Council’s Pest Control Team are on hand to assist you.
