The Five Star Appeal, the children’s charity based on Bury New Road in Prestwich, is organising an Abseil on St Mary’s Church Prestwich on 29 June 2013.

The Charity would like people to help them raise funds for Nicholas Bamforth who is a 9 year old boy from Middleton who has cerebral Palsy, who is receiving treatment in America so he can walk.

They aim to raise £10,000 to help towards his treatment. They have raised £3000 so far but need all the help they can get to get to the £10,000 needed. They can take 100 people on the day so if they fill the slot with 100 people raising a minimum of £100 each, they will hit £10,000.

What
Join us on Saturday 29th June from 12pm til 6pm and abseil off one of the tallest buildings in Prestwich at 100ft. Abseiling is a major adrenaline rush and represents a challenge of a lifetime. Test yourself to the limit, do something you’d always dreamed you’d never do and raise vital funds for Charity.

Why
The aim of the abseil is to raise money for The Five Stars Appeal help children in the NW with Cerebral Palsy and Neuroblastoma raise funds for treatment abroad.
