Congratulations to our local football team, Prestwich Heys, who are celebrating promotion to the North West Counties League Premier Division.

The promotion is as a result of a restructure of non-professional leagues. As one of the top teams in Division One North Heys was entitled to apply for the Premier Division which has now been confirmed.

Congratulations to the club for for its success. The Premier Division season starts on 31st July. More details here.
