Transport for Greater Manchester has announced a significant change to the 90/91 bus which links Simister, and the Heywood Road area to the Village and Tescos.
Residents will be aware that the a new service (Simister to Bury via Radcliffe) was introduced in July 2015, but it has now been agreed that this doesn’t work in its intention to improve reliability.
Number 91 will no longer server Prestwich or Simister, and the 90 will move from to being every 40 minutes Simister to Tesco. This is a change as the current frequency is 30 minutes Simister to the Village. Change are from next week (25 January 2016).
