Friends of Philips Park are organising sessions throughout the summer as for people who want to get involved in conservation tasks in our beautiful local parkland.
Philips Park of Bury’s largest public green space (50 ha /120 acres) is a Local Nature Reserve with ancient woodland, waymarked trails, and a former Historic Garden.
The Park Friends have regular work sessions doing a range of conservation tasks from woodland management to path clearance. Reclaiming the Gardens is one of our main aims
New volunteers are welcome. No special requirements – only enjoyment of outdoor work. For more details contact Rob – 07749042325 / Steven 07561419586 Please Text First
