Please see below the most significant scheduled roadworks in March 2022 – some pretty bad ones on both Bury New Road and Fairfax Road…. The full list is can be found here.
Bury New Road, Sedgley Park village – two-way traffic lights and other restrictions continue until 11 April 2022 (Bury Council)
Bury New Road, just north of St Mary’s Road – two-way traffic signals (Virgin Media)
Sandy Lane, near Ladythorne Avenue – road closure 29 March 2022 (United Utilities)
Fairfax Road – multi-way signals – 16-23 March 2022 (Electricity North West)
I currently work at SRFT, a 5 mile journey to work is already taking between 30-45 mins due to road works in Salford. Why can’t these companies co-ordinate their work with other towns / cities, I image my travel time will increase to an hour each way with these new road dates, which I find unacceptable and highly frustrating
