Sport England – Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Activity Fund
https://www.sportengland.org/how-we-can-help/our-funds/queens-platinum-jubilee-activity-fund
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Activity Fund aims to use sport and physical activity as a means of bringing a community together and tackling inequalities via awards of between £300 and £10,000 from a pot of £5 million of National Lottery funding.
Sports England want to mark and help celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year by supporting projects that bring a community together and provide opportunities for people who may be less physically active. As such they want organisations to consider how they could work more collaboratively across their community, in order to make the biggest possible impact. Funds are available for project costs such as facility hire and coaching, as well as for small capital improvements.
Arts Council England – Let’s Create Jubilee Fund
https://www.artscouncil.org.uk/our-open-funds/let%E2%80%99s-create-jubilee-fund
Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations are a special moment in our collective history; one that gives us a chance to look back at what has been achieved over the last 70 years and also look forward to what is possible in the future.
The focus of this fund is to empower community organisations to work collaboratively with artists and cultural organisations in a way they might not have before, to produce creative events that are driven by them and highlight their ideas and creativity.
Although our funding usually falls under several artform disciplines, we don’t want to be too prescriptive over what kinds of creative responses we expect to see for the Let’s Create Jubilee Fund. Instead, we want to encourage community organisations to think about what creative activity would mean the most to their local communities and why.
Voluntary and community organisations will be encouraged to partner with a practitioner or organisation who has received Arts Council funding in the last four years to deliver their activity. We believe that the strongest applications will demonstrate a strong partnership with a cultural organisation or artists or creative professional, to ensure the activity is high quality and relevant for the audiences and participants who will experience the event. Grants range £750-£10k. Application deadline 28th February 2022.
