Just to let residents know that I have a meeting with the Heaton Park management next Friday (15 November 2019).
This was set up as a meeting to talk about Heaton Park issues in general, as they affect local residents, but this is also a great opportunity to raise issues about bonfire night last week, as I am aware that there were some serious problems in some areas.
If there are issues that you would like me to raise about the park, Parklife, bonfire night, parking or other issues can you let me know?
Best wishes
Tim

Heaton park and Manchester City council must spend a lot of money distributing parking permits for the bonfire night event to residents with a letter on the back saying to display it otherwise we might get a ticket but in reality there is no enforcement of these permits on the night in any way shape or form in the st Margaret’s road area.
I know this event will bring in a lot of money and I like it but the parking is so dangerous. Cars park up on pavements, block drives and on corners. If they are giving out permits they have to enforce it as it just gives us false hope that things will be better each year.
