Young people in Bury are organising an event to celebrate diversity and promote tolerance and equality.

They are taking part in a Walking Rainbow through the town centre on Sunday 13 July. This will leave the town hall at 12.30pm and, via The Rock, finish at Kay Gardens where there will be music, speeches, information stands and activities.

The event is supported by Bury Council, Greater Manchester Police, The Lesbian and Gay Foundation, Gaydio, Backing Young Bury, The Rainbow House Project, Streetwise and more.
